Throw a Bachelor Party Without Bars and Late Nights

For some guys the idea of a late night and drinks is not a worthwhile pre-wedding celebration. They would prefer to leave the drinking to someone else and celebrate their past bachelorhood in a different way.

A traditional bachelor party usually involves a group of close buddies gathering to celebrate their friend’s new marital status and maybe getting a bit out of hand while doing so. If you are planning a bachelor party and are searching for some celebratory alternatives, consider this:

Paint Ball or Laser Tag: For some guys the idea of running around and taking their best shot at the new groom sounds just about perfect. To plan these events successfully consider renting a time slot at a nearby paintball arena or renting the equipment and finding some rural land to use as your location. Paintball and laser tag are a great way to burn off some pre-wedding jitters and is sure to result in a few memorable bachelor party moments.

Sports event: As the host, it is important to consider the cost of a late night bar crawl and consider what else could be done with that same amount of money. For example, speak to your guests and ask them how much they were willing to spend for the groom’s big night.

Once you have received an accurate estimate, calculate the cost of other alternatives. You may be able to purchase last minute tickets to a favorite teams sporting event and really help the groom relax and enjoy some testosterone-filled companionship!

Videogame Tournament: For those who are working on a budget, staying home, and filling a day with videogames, beer, action movies, and poker could sound just about perfect. If you are hosting a bachelor party for a close friend, simply ask what kinds of things he misses doing since getting engaged and helping plan a wedding. Then invite your closest guy pals and enjoy a day of unlimited, uninterrupted “guy things”!

Doing guy-related activities without the drinking, heavy partying and other women provides a fun experience without the hangover and possible bad judgment calls that lead to later problems and regret. Have a safe and memorable bachelor party!
